1. Purpose

These Terms of Sale define the commercial conditions applicable to the subscription of paid plans offered by Pilotd, accessible at pilotd.fr.

Any subscription to a paid plan implies unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Sale. They complement the Terms of Use available on the website.

2. Plans and pricing

Pilotd offers three plans:

  • Free — €0, access to core features with no time limit.
  • Pro — €9/month or €90/year (save 16%), designed for individual freelancers.
  • Team — €19/month or €190/year (save 16%), designed for teams.

All prices are listed in euros and exclude applicable taxes. The full breakdown of features included in each plan is available on the pricing page of the website.

3. Subscription

After creating a free account, users can subscribe to a paid plan from the billing page in their dashboard. The choice of plan and billing interval (monthly or yearly) is made by the user before confirmation.

The payment process is entirely managed by Stripe Inc., our certified payment processor. The subscription takes effect immediately after payment confirmation.

4. Payment

Payment is made by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, and other methods accepted by Stripe) through the secure Stripe Inc. platform. Charges are recurring and automatic based on the selected billing interval (monthly or yearly).

Pilotd does not store any credit card data. All payment information is processed and stored by Stripe in compliance with PCI DSS standards. No sensitive payment information passes through our servers.

5. Free trial

The Free plan serves as an unlimited, no-commitment trial. No credit card is required to sign up or use the Free plan. Users can keep this plan for as long as they wish.

Upgrading to a paid plan is entirely voluntary and will never be triggered automatically.

6. Changing plans

Users can change their plan at any time from the billing page in their dashboard.

When upgrading to a higher plan, the price difference is prorated for the remaining period. The new plan takes effect immediately.

When downgrading to a lower plan, the new rate applies starting from the next billing cycle. Users retain access to all features of their current plan until the end of the current period.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 days from the date of subscription to exercise your right of withdrawal, without needing to provide any reason or pay any penalties.

To exercise this right, contact us at billing@pilotd.fr with your name, the email address associated with your account, and the date of subscription. The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving your request.

8. Cancellation

Users can cancel their subscription at any time from the billing page in their dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Access to the plan's features remains active until the end of the already-paid period. No partial refund is issued for the remaining time after cancellation.

Once the period ends, the account automatically reverts to the Free plan.

9. Invoicing

Invoices are issued by Stripe for each payment and are available in the Pilotd billing dashboard. Users can download their invoices in PDF format at any time.

Invoices are also sent by email to the address associated with the user's account.

10. VAT

Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of taxes. Applicable VAT is calculated automatically based on the user's country, in accordance with current European regulations.

For business customers located in the European Union (outside France), the reverse charge mechanism applies upon presentation of a valid intra-community VAT number.

11. Limitation of liability

Pilotd strives to maintain optimal service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Scheduled maintenance or technical incidents may occasionally affect access to the service.

Under no circumstances shall Pilotd be held liable for indirect damages, data loss, or loss of revenue resulting from the use or inability to use the service. Pilotd's liability is limited to the amounts actually paid by the user during the preceding 12 months.

12. Price changes

Pilotd reserves the right to modify its pricing at any time. Any price change will be notified 30 days in advance by email to the address associated with the user's account.

Active subscriptions remain at the subscribed rate until the next renewal. The new rate will automatically apply at the billing cycle following the notification, unless the user cancels before that date.

13. Governing law

These Terms of Sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory legal provisions regarding jurisdictional competence applicable to consumers.
